About SVA Basketball
Conquerors Basketball is committed to glorifying Jesus Christ in all that we do.
In serving and training the homeschool student-athlete, the goal is not merely to train for physical skill and endurance, but rather, to train each student-athlete to learn to pursue excellence in all things with an attitude that recognizes the greatest purpose of honoring Jesus Christ in every area of life.

Practices and tryouts start in October, and the season goes through February or March, depending on end-of-season tournament availability.
Open gyms and off-season skills camps will be posted and communicated when available.

We practice in several Church gyms throughout the Roanoke Valley, while home games are played at North Roanoke Baptist Church.
Most games are played within a 50-mile radius of Roanoke.
We play teams as far away as Richmond, Lynchburg, and Harrisonburg.

Middle School, JV, and Varsity teams will typically play 15 to 25 games.
This includes the regular season along with several tip-off and end-of-season tournaments.

Most of our opponents are other Homeschooled Teams, Private Schools, Public Schools, and Travel Teams.
We will also play in homeschool tournaments and invitationals as they are presented.
