Who Are the Conquerors?
1. Christian
We are a Christian organization, which means that we hold God's Word, the Bible, as our sole authority. We believe that salvation comes from God, not based on works, but only by grace from God through faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus Christ is the only true way to salvation and that His perfect life, sacrificial death, and victorious resurrection are the basis of faith for all who would believe. And finally, we believe that all things, including our organization, were created and are sustained by God, which means that He alone gets the glory. We hold to Christian values and ethics, which marks our program and comes before any other core principle, since being followers of Jesus is our primary focus and identity.
2. Competitive
The Conquerors are a competitive sports organization, which means that we are seeking to compete at the highest possible level by pursuing excellence in every detail of each sport. Although this does mean that we do seek to win and compete at the highest level, competition does not ever come before the standard and ethic of following Christ, which the first and main core principle of our identity.
3. Consistent
The Conquerors strive to be a consistent organization. Our first priority is to be consistent in our faith and in how we uphold the standard of conduct and excellence as Christians. Consistency means that we strive to live in a God-glorifying manner at all times, whether in sports environments or in daily life.
